On July 16, at approximately 10:24 a.m., police reported spotting a vehicle parked in the weeds behind Chadwick Street. The 2010 Mitsubishi was reportedly stolen from Clifton . Further investigation revealed that the vehicle was involved in an accident and was missing the front license plate. The driver’s side window was broken on scene due to the fact that the glass was on the ground outside the vehicle as well as still on the windowsill. The driver’s side door lock and ignition were not damaged and were in working order. Police also found that the operator had attempted to use the vehicle jack to jack up the rear passenger’s side wheel, and the spare tire was unsecured from its storage location in the trunk, police said.

On July 14, at approximately 7:43 p.m., a Lincoln Place resident reported that someone stole her son’s BMX style orange bicycle from a friend’s house on Carlton Avenue, according to the police report.

On July 12, at approximately 10:42 a.m., a Washington Place resident reported that he parked his vehicle in front of his home on July 11 and when he returned to it on July 12, he noticed that his roof racks, valued at $1,000, were removed, according to the police report.
