However, I ran into a situation at work where I had to remove some badly rusted and rounded over bolts from the exhaust manifold of a piece of earthmoving machinery, and none of the standard methods worked. After trying for 3 hours, I finally bought a set of Bolt Grips. They really worked. I had all 3 Hardware bolts out in less than 5 minutes. I am sold on these things.

I tried everything- DW 40, PB Blaster, ratchet, box wrench, flared box wrench, 3 sets of vise grips,hammer and cold chisel, to no avail. This extractor is the answer. Very straightforward – a great product that works and will save a major headache when someone has carelessly rounded off a rusty old bolt that will not come out after penetrating oil and all other efforts failed.
