Behind the right side bezel are buttons for Power, Input, Channel Up/Down, and Volume Up/Down. Several easy-to-reach side-mounted inputs sit behind the left bezel, including four HDMI ports, a USB port, and an audio output. On the back of the cabinet are two sets of composite A/V jacks, one set of component jacks, VGA and RS-232 connectors, Ethernet and coaxial cable/antenna jacks, a secondary USB port, and two audio jacks (digital-out and PC-in).
The 93-pound cabinet is supported by a rectangular base that doesn't offer swivel adjustment but does a great job of keeping the huge panel steady with very little wobble.
The 57-button remote is long (9.5 inches) and slender, with a two-tone black finish with silver trim on the sides. The number pad keys are large and the four-way navigation keys are responsive. The LC-70LE735U will detect a 3D signal automatically and switch over to 3D mode, but you can also use the dedicated 3D button to enable 3D mode and to convert a standard 2D picture to a faux-3D picture (but you won't get the clarity and depth that you get with true 3D content). The Apps button launches a sizable tool bar that lets you scroll through and select Web applications and widgets. You also get Freeze Frame, Channel, and Volume controls, as well as the usual player controls (Play, Pause, Rewind, Fast Forward, and Record).
Hi
I just recently purchased Samsung Plasma TV PN51D8000
I was playing through with some meus and options but I couldn't
figure out how to use a screen Size ZOOM1 and ZOOM2 , is
always grayed out... How can I use this screen size???
Second question is I'am curios what is a recommand Pixel Shift
setting for this TV??(burin in protection setting)
Maadclw,
Zoom1 and Zoom2 may be for analog signals, since zooming digital signals would require a re-mapping of the digital signal. Also, if you are using a thumb-drive or NAS device for playing content, it will display in the aspect ratio the picture was encoded in only. If it's not 1920x1080, it may not fill the screen.
For Pixel Shift, most people can set it to 4/4, 4/0, 2/2, etc. and never notice it. It's designed to be very subtle.
Does that help?
