Styling: Mahogany, a fashion show featuring local designers, will be Wednesday at Carlisle Hotel, 10909 M St. Omaha's first African-American fashion and hair show will benefit the Mahogany Scholarship Fund. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will start at 8 p.m. Tickets — $20 for general admission, $30 for VIP — are available online at www.nativeomahadaysfestival.com and also will be sold at the door.

Let's eat Mexican: From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Omaha-area Chipotle Mexican Grill restaurants will donate 50 percent of sales to the Omaha Public Library Foundation when customers show a promotional flier or mention their support of the library. Fliers are available to download at omahalibrary.org or can be picked up at any of the 12 library locations.

Sluggeritaville: The deadline to buy tickets for Sluggeritaville is Friday. Think of having a Margaritaville kind of good time at a Lincoln Saltdogs game and helping a local charity, all for $20. The event will begin at 2 p.m. Aug. 6 with a tailgate party in the Saltdogs' parking lot. Cedar Island Band will provide live Jimmy Buffett-style music inside the ballpark both before and after the 7:05 p.m. game. The price of the tailgate party, game ticket and music are included in the initial fee. Proceeds will benefit Clinic With a Heart, a medical mission in Lincoln.
