The Beauty Box Autumn's gone swish
Celebrities have been quick to get in on the act; Beyoncé sported hers high and simple, while Gossip Girl Blake Lively wore hers smooth and sporty.
At the royal wedding, Victoria Beckham caused a stir with her ponytail pulled back high and tight, perched behind a hat which rivalled even Princess Beatrice’s.
The Help star Emma Stone teamed her ponytail with a small beehive, red lips and striking eyeliner. Channelling the 1940s trend that will be so popular in coming months, Stone’s tousled look was brought bang on trend with a below the knee pencil skirt, simple accessories and kitten heels.
All the ponytails sported on runways and red carpets have one thing in common; they all cover the elastic with a strand of hair from the ponytail, for a polished final effect.
