£20k raid on Little Clacton home
CROOKS made off with goods worth more than £20,000 after a raid on a home in Little Clacton.
A property in Weeley Road was targeted and every room was ransacked by the burglars in what the police term a “messy search”.
The raid took place between 2.30pm on Wednesday June 29 and 1am the following morning.
Burglars forced their way in through the front door of the house, but it appears they used a ladder to remove the stolen items over a garden fence into a vehicle parked in a side road.
Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen the burglary taking place, or any suspicious activity or vehicles in the area at the time of the raid.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone, in Clacton or further afield in Essex, who has seen items that may be from the burglary or who has been offered any of these for sale.
Even if you’re not sure an item is on the list or is exactly the same, officers are still keen for information, even if it turns out not to be relevant.
