Great coffee from an elegant Press mj After weeks of searching for a stainless steel coffee press, referring to reading every review - I think reviews: good and bad - I finally found a press conference that I thought would work ... and it does! In reality it is an excellent pot of coffee. It is also very beautiful. It looks like a silver coffee pot can be found on room service tray in a 4-star hotel: classic Art Deco design. The large chute allows you to drip coffee, and without the large handle makes it easy to throw to keep it. The pot is made of stainless steel produced in China by a British company with obviously very demanding standards polished, there is no error, dents or unfinished surfaces. He has a smooth and seamless surface appears in: inside and out and can proudly sit on a tray or table. After my accident with my glass Bodum press (that exploded and was burning 1st and 2nd degree), I was a little leery about pushing the plunger when I made my first pot Do not worry, but fell like a dream nice and easy. So easily that I thought could not have captured all the coffee beans. (The only disadvantage of using a metal container has not been able to see the reason to be depressed.) Do not worry, as I found when I cleaned the toilet, all the reasons that had been captured by steel mesh filter steel and had little or no water to the lands at the bottom of the pan. In fact, this release should be hand washed and dried, you can not put into the machine. The only feature not seem to "work" for me was the role of keeping warm. I made a pot (which probably contributed to the cooling of the beer), but I made enough for two cups of coffee - 20 oz .-- and I took the second trophy in ten minutes. The second cut was not as hot as the first, which I rinse the pot with hot tap water before the coffee in the pot and I put it on a hot block, so my counter tile would not cool the pot. However, this pot a double wall and the air bubble is what "keeps the coffee warm", not a vacuum pot. The pot is heavy, but not as hard as it would be if was a thermos or insulated pot. Lack of insulation could be a good thing to break anything and I let it, it should last a very long time. I think that the warming would look better if we had thrown a pot and help - as the manual says - ". Close proximity to the boil" water, water should press to make coffee, it cools, if it give the pan Heat hits and is absorbed by the air cushion. Ah yes, the coffee elegant in this press release - it was the best! I would recommend this great news for everyone. Yes, it's a bit 'more expensive than glass presses, but do not have to worry about breaking or exploding July Update: I did a lot of pots of coffee since my first review and I can not say that my coffee stay hot, it is very nice drink - for up to two hours - and the dish has remained cool to the touch. I use water just off the boil, I think that certainly helped. I really like this coffee! 28 of 30 people found this review helpful. I'll adjust ... In apophyses After trying (and reviewing) the number of other coffee presses, stainless steel, I think I'll keep it. It 's all metal (unlike the terrible news Bodum with a plastic frame around the screen) is quite strong, and does the job for less than half the price of some of the other presses. E 'pleasing to the eye at a distance of at least. And 'well done? No, not really. The weld that connects to the handle of the pot is neglected, the slot is cut at an angle and bend unevenly, and the metal of the pot is wavy and distorted by the handle as the Polish working very hard. Of course, this.
